With professional mixed martial arts as our stage and a black-tie gala as the backdrop, SMASH MMA delivers a unique experience that is one part sporting event, one part networking, one part award ceremony and all parts class and sophistication.
The majority of MMA events are conducted in very large venues, with limited frills and a “cage-fighting” feel or motif. Although the sport is becoming increasingly popular and profitable, it is promoted and played in an unsophisticated manner — by analogy, it is like NASCAR instead of the Formula 1 or any number of private “invitation only” social register events held in the Hamptons of Long Island, New York. Using an NFL analogy, there are no real skyboxes in mainstream MMA.

Steve Orosco, MBA, MSM, is a former Wall Street broker, a professional MMA fighter and the Founder of SMASH MMA.
After years in the cage, Steve identified an opportunity to raise the level of class and sophistication in the sport by creating entertainment events for premium clientele.
With an MBA, an MS degree and extensive professional fighting experience, Orosco is uniquely equipped to lead and manage a mixed martial arts (MMA) events organization.
